Government of Maharashtra has specially established Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation to accomplish the task of planning and execution of various important junctions in Mumbai city and surrounding areas for easing out traffic congestion. The flyover at Vakola and Kalina junctions on Western Express Highway is one amongst the above.
